Hande Yayla is the partner heading the corporate practice at YAK, assisting clients in all areas of commercial and company law. Her practice has particular emphasis on M&A projects as well, advising local and international clientele including strategic investors, private equity houses, venture funds, angel investors and Turkish selling shareholders and families in various sectors.

Ms. Yayla leads the team advising and assisting the clients with their corporate and commercial dealings including the establishment of business structures in Turkey, contracts, employment matters, corporate restructurings, mergers, spin-offs, closure of business and data protection related matters. She provides routine legal assistance to a wide range of clientele including local and international corporations, family-owned businesses, board members, professional executives on all aspects of their business and corporate dealings.

Hande Yayla also has significant experience in arbitration. She has acted for parties as counsel in, international arbitrations and mediations relating to shareholder disputes, product liability, and investments.

Ms. Yayla’s transactional work covers broader corporate and structuring matters where she assists the clients from early stages of the transaction, through the post-closing integrations. She represents some of the largest foreign companies doing business in Turkey in the food, aviation, manufacturing, iron and steel and automotive sectors.
